Intersolar and ees North America gather solar and storage peers in California

Intersolar and ees North America, the premier solar event and the ultimate hotspot for energy storage solutions in North America, featured riveting discussions between industry pioneers in San Francisco during its eleventh annual event. After a year of political uncertainty in the North American market, a bold and optimistic take on the future for solar and storage technologies was offered. The co-located exhibitions, including SEMICON West, attracted 14,000 attendees from around 60 countries and 432 exhibitors.

Event Highlights

  • Keynote by Tony Seba: Tony Seba, author and Silicon Valley entrepreneur, focused in his rousing speech on how smart energy technologies are enabling a major shift in the automotive industry.
  • White Paper Release: Intersolar and ees collaborated with GTM Research on a White Paper called “Grid Edge Innovation – Technologies, Business Models and the Future of Demand Flexibility” which was presented to the audience. Download White Paper
  • Stages on the Show Floors: 2 stages, 3 days and numerous free presentations and NABCEP certified workshops covering topics from the solar, energy storage and e-mobility industries.
  • Summerfest – A Journey to Outer Space: What a memorable evening at Metreon Rooftop celebrating the solar and energy storage industries with cosmic cocktails and interplanetary networking – all benefiting CALSSA.
  • Solar Movie Theater: Attendees were invited to fly high with Solar Impulse and then get back to earth with Solar Roots, the colorful history of the PV Pioneers in the U.S. from the 70‘s and 80‘s. Attendees met Solar Impulse pilot André Borschberg and filmmakers as well as some of the American pioneers who gave birth to the U.S. PV industry.

Testimonial: Aurora Solar

“Intersolar is one of our favorite trade shows. As a solar tech startup, we rarely get to see solar installers in person, so it‘s a great opportunity for us to get to know the people we‘re trying to serve. Plus, having it in our backyard allows for everybody from the company to come see the solar industry live!“
Marion Wellington, Growth Marketer at Aurora Solar

Testimonial: Rolls Battery Engineering

"As a deep cycle battery manufacturer, exhibiting at Intersolar & ees North America has continued to offer our team an opportunity to connect and strengthen relationships with many of our existing Rolls Battery distributors, dealers and installers. High attendance and key networking events at this annual conference and exhibition have allowed us to establish and develop several new sales opportunities in North American markets.  Brand exposure, networking and the quality of attendees continue to make this one of the most worthwhile solar events each year."
